Troop 218 is very grateful to the rangers at Fort Tejon who made our experience over the weekend of 6/3 truly a memorable one. We had a guided tour lasting the full morning and afternoon where we learned about the history of Fort Tejon, the area, the soldiers, the officers, life at the fort in the 1850s, being a black smith, being a carpenter and much more! The highlight of the day was firing an 1850s canon (not once but twice!). Another great experience for the scouts in Troop 218!
