Etiquette Training 2.0 - 2/26/23

Writer's picture: Webmaster Troop 218Webmaster Troop 218

While etiquette training isn't part of BSA's formal scout advancement, Troop 218 thinks it's important to teach our boys very important life skills. The Feb 26th meeting was focused on:

  1. Teaching and practicing the proper way to greet other people

  2. Tying ties (no clip-ons here!)

  3. How to properly iron a shirt

  4. Sewing -- patches, patches and more patches

There was even a little time at the end to have a tie tying competition. See our video here.

It's awesome that Troop 218 focuses on life skills. Helping these boys transition into young men is an important part of scouting, and learning these skills helps a lot!
