Summer Camp 2026

Nestled in the middle of the Black Forest, Camp Cris Dobbins offers sweeping views of Pikes Peak and the front range of the Rocky Mountains. Scouts will have a hard time choosing between the more than 50 merit badges offered here, and will love spending time on the water slides at the outdoor pool, dusting a clay at the Olympic shotgun range, channeling their inner movie star in our Movie Making program, or pretending to be Indiana Jones at our STEM lodge archaeology dig site. The convenience of meals from our dining hall and sleeping on raised wooden platforms in canvas wall tents will allow Scouts to focus on the only thing that matters: their next outdoor adventure!

Camp Cris Dobbins, Summer Camp 2026
One of the best parts of being a Scout is that, every once in a while, you get the chance to step away from the familiar and discover what you're capable of. This summer, that opportunity takes us to Camp Cris Dobbins in the mountains of Colorado.
Summer camp is more than a week away from home. It's where Scouts grow, sometimes without even realizing it at the time. At Camp Cris Dobbins, Scouts will hike mountain trails, learn new skills, earn merit badges, and live as a patrol and a troop. They'll take responsibility, look out for one another, and find confidence in doing hard things well.
There will be laughter around campfires.
There will be challenges that test patience and perseverance.
There will be moments of pride when a Scout realizes, I did that myself.
These experiences are what Scouting is all about building character, leadership, and friendships that last far beyond one week in the mountains.
I hope every Scout who can attend will join us. Camp Cris Dobbins is the kind of place Scouts remember for the rest of their lives, and
I'm excited to share that experience together as a troop.
If you have questions, please reach out. I look forward to a great summer and an unforgettable camp.
