Troop 218 - Hiking & Merit Badge Work

A very active weekend...

Hike:

We hiked to Eagle Rock along the Musch Trail which was a 4.4 mile hike with 900 feet of elevation gain! The boys learned about land navigation and how to use a map and compass (Working on Second Class req # and First Class req 5).

Merit Badge:

The Boys did a great job with a 15-mile ride, completing the 3rd ride in the series of 7 rides to complete a very difficult Cycling Merit Badge.

Both events were a huge success -- and we celebrated Mother's Day!!!
