Troop 218 rolled into McGill this weekend ready for adventure… and apparently ready to become gourmet chefs. The boys leveled up hard in the outdoor kitchen, whipping out fried chicken from scratch like they were auditioning for “Top Chef: Campfire Edition.” Flour everywhere. Oil sizzling. Zero injuries. Maximum deliciousness. The dads are still confused and impressed.
Between culinary masterpieces, the troop hit the trail for a hike that led to a legit mountain waterfall—the good kind where everyone immediately forgets they were “too tired” five minutes earlier. Shoes got wet, laughs were loud, and at least one Scout considered bottling the water as “Mountain Edition Cologne.”
Camp McGill delivered crisp air, big laughs, and a weekend full of those moments that make Scouting awesome. The boys crushed it—from kitchen skills to trail spirit. Already planning the sequel.
