Flag Placement at LA National Cemetery - Memorial Day

Writer's picture: Webmaster Troop 218Webmaster Troop 218

Troop 218 was proud to honor fallen heroes by participating in a flag placement ceremony at the LA National Cemetery in Westwood. The historic cemetery, dedicated in 1889, holds a Memorial Day program every year to honor the veterans of the U.S. armed forces who have died. This was a solemn event that taught our scouts about Memorial Day, and it gave them the opportunity to honor those who served and died.
