Troop 218 Scouts hiked 6.5 miles -- some of it quite technical -- to reach Black Star Canyon Falls, in the Cleveland National Forest. The falls were flowing in strong force as a result of all the recent rain. It was a great hike and a beautiful day. It was also an
opportunity for the Scouts to work on their compass and navigation skills. We were also happy to have 3 Weblos Scouts from Pack 718 join us. The next adventure awaits!
The hike sounded challenging but it looks like the view at the falls was worth it. Nice job Troop 218 for sharing another adventure.
