Our week at Camp Grizzly was nothing short of epic! Surrounded by the towering pines and rugged beauty of northern Idaho, Troop 218 dove into one of our most memorable summer adventures yet
From the very first day, our Scouts showed what Troop 218 spirit is all about — teamwork, grit, and a love for adventure. The highlights were endless:
🏊♂️ Epic Efforts in the Mile Swim
Several Scouts took on the legendary Camp Grizzly Mile Swim, pushing themselves through chilly mountain water to earn one of Scouting’s toughest summer challenges.
🎯 Dime Club Sharpshooters
Our marksmen joined the elite Dime Club, hitting impressive targets in both rifle and archery. The focus and precision they showed were next-level!
🐻 Champions of the Grizzly Games
Troop 218 brought home the Grizzly Games trophy, dominating the camp-wide competition with teamwork, Scout skills, and just the right amount of friendly rivalry.
❄️ Polar Bear Plunge!
And of course, no Camp Grizzly experience would be complete without the Polar Bear Plunge — a freezing morning jump into the lake that only the bold dare to attempt. Every Scout who took the plunge earned major bragging rights (and a hot breakfast afterward!).
It was an unforgettable week filled with challenges, laughter, and memories that will last a lifetime. Camp Grizzly reminded us what Scouting is all about — adventure, friendship, and the courage to take on anything.
